Equipped with the(appears to be) numbers matching famed 364 nailhead v8 engine, and the dual path turbine drive automatic transmission. I purchased this car from the estate of the original owner! Yes, a one owner virtual survivor with just 63,000 original miles and one repaint about 5 years ago! And it retains its original interior ! This car just has “the look”. The paint is base/clear black, and just exceptional. This expression is way over used, but it truly needs to be seen in person to appreciate. Pictures just don’t do the car or finish justice. No rust bubbles, scratches, dirt, dings, or issues. Please take note in the photos to the clarity of the reflection in the background. Even a 25 year old maaco paint job will shine. But will not have the clarity or depth of shine that this car has. The undercarriage is extremely clean, very solid, straight, and rust free. No shoddy patch panels, holes, soft spots, or issues. Trunk area is also very solid. The car appears to retain all its original sheet metal, quarters, fenders, floor pans, etc. There is undercoat present, but consistent with a dealer application at that time. Car rides, drives, and handles like a dream; straight and smooth down the road with no shimmy’s, shakes, or vibrations. Extremely tight and surprisingly easy to drive with manual steering and brakes. Front brakes are the larger factory upgrade 12”, which does stop the large car very well. I would not hesitate to get behind the wheel of this hot rod with my family, and drive it anywhere. At 70 mph on the highway, or any speed for that matter, rides better than my mercedes sl65. The car has great lines and everything fits up very well, doors, trunk, hood, etc. Interior is original!! Yes, original with the two tone gray and black finish, and is just exceptional for the age. Driver’s seat has slight wear, but overall shows very well. I did install a new carpet, as well as weather strips, rubbers, etc. All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges, windows, etc are functioning properly. The tires are new 17” radials with new chrome ridler wheels. I have the original steel wheels and factory hubcaps mounted to brand new whitewall radials that are included with the sale and pictured in the photos. I also have all original paperwork, such as dealer manual, warranty book, protect –o-plate stamp, and other various documents and materials from the purchase back in 1961.
