Akront alloy rims with stainless spokes built by Buchannan Wheel & Spoke, hydraulic steering damper, electronic ignition, and an anti wet sump valve. I have owned the bike for about 18 months, I bought it from an older gentleman who had not been using it so much so I had it fully serviced (invoices available) and replaced both tires and tubes as well as the kickstart gear linkage which was not quite right. Clock says 13035 miles which looks right on an original Norton clock but I cannot verify

its my opinion that the xxxx/xxxx/72 are the best NORTON'S to date ,with that vintage front drum brake assy and a good solid reinforced frame (prior years had issues )and the only bikes that are worth repairing / restoring . This condition (totally restored every nut and bolt ) is highly sought after great for the beginner and experienced collectors

Other than replacing a head gasket when the original fiber one leaked (has copper now), I dont believe the engine has ever had internal work of any kind.. However, it is exceptionally well sorted, with the usual upgrades any Commando needs. 13810 miles
