The bike does not need anything, Tires are about 30-40 percent tread left. I have changed the oil and filter every 3k miles

his bike has 3 mode of traction control systems, if u worry about the rainy days u can choose the 3rd one - low power mode and with full traction control and with ABS, it is easy to brake on whatever road condition even it prevents you from rear skidding when you start. If u want to save fuel, I suggest u choose the 2nd one - only 75% power(I always use this mode). My beautiful 2012 Versys 1000 has only about 5150 miles and all function very very well, and this kind of bike is rare in US, it is a Canadian, but don't worry, the parts of this bike are easy to buy
