This bike has been great to me since i first got my license in august 2013 and bought it. However it's 31 years old and my mechanics are having trouble finding parts for it; because no parts are currently being made for it any longer. It's in the shop now having the pulsar coils replaced, but i love to ride, and fairly long distances, so i want to ride, and sadly because no parts are being made for it any longer, i really cannot keep this bike that i love so much because when something does need to be worked on (and there hasn't been that much over these past 4 years), there is a lot of trouble finding the part so it sits in a shop and i cannot ride. It has a few dents (not from me) and a bit of rust (as can be expected with this year), and the passenger seat has two tears (also came with the bike when i bought it), but it's always ran great (until it needed the pulsar coils repaired, and the other coil (which is easy and can be purchased brand new. I bought two of those and have one that did not need replacing). There is a scratch on the gas tank, which to be honest i think i did with my tank bag. (i love the convenience of a tank bag, however i was doubting that it would scratch like my harley buddies said would do. I don't know how to buff it out, or i would have done it already. I also just put tires on it last summer so they are fairly new. As i mentioned above, i don't want to give this bike up, but if i have to, i'd like it to go to someone who likes to work on bikes, and has the time and patience to find the right part to keep her on the road. She's not dead and she still has a lot of life in her, but i don't want to be the one to ride it until she no longer can ride. I'd like someone who restores these to own her next :) or someone who is mechanically inclined, who has patience. Price is somewhat negotiable because i want a good owner.
