This is the last of the air-cooled porsches and in my opinion the pinnacle of the porsche essence. The original owner purchased the car new from champion porsche in pompano beach, fla, see the window sticker. He used it on weekends for local drives. He was not a porschefile, just a driver of a nice car he bought new. From the limited receipts he changed what was necessary. This is technically a one owner car. Its current owner recently inherited the car upon the original owners unfortunate passing. She has no porsche interest and wishes it go to a good home. This is a nice starting point for someone who wants a nice driver. The good: everything works and the car has no apparent mechanical issues the car is painted in indischrot, or india red, very close to guards red. Paint code 84a minimal paint blemishes. Replaced with a kenwood model # kdcx595 and kicker front speakers the "could be better": there are very minimal records, some minor engine maintenance and tire receipts. The owner didn't consider the 993 a collectible but a toy. The car shows and shines great. The exterior needs some polishing and some tlc. Just needs that extra effort put into it to make it to be excellent. It is a 20 yr old car after all. The drivers door check is missing. The drivers lower door seal is worn the driver seat motion needs attention. The wheels have some minor rashing but can be refurbished for minimal expense. Overall this is a nice one owner car in the most stunning color combination. The car is available for inspection by appointment only. If the ad is up its still for sale. Sound Package

The 993 generation of the porsche 911 is the ultimate evolution and expression of the original car for many. It takes the purity of the iconic design – with its race-inspired tall headlights and wraparound rear end – and gives it a bit of updated streamlining. This design looks particularly striking in the forest green metallic paint. Part of the reason why the car can be so timeless is because of great care over its two-owner lifetime. That's why the panels are so straight, the doors still shut with teutonic authority, and we even suspect that deep green paint to be original. That's because we love the truly european color combo of the dark green against the tan leather interior. While this is all meant to be a car focused for the road, it doesn't skip on comfortable features. This includes keyless entry, power locks, cruise control, driver's airbag, am/fm/cd stereo, and provisions for air conditioning. The air-cooled flat-six is the bedrock of porsche's reputation, and this is its final evolution. The 3. 6-liter was one of the most advanced powerplants of its time. It includes the varioram system which allows the motor to have a boarder, flatter torque curve that results in excellent performance, especially from a standstill. This is truly when porsche threw their engineering prowess into the 911 – it's even the time when they introduced the deploying rear panel for better aerodynamics at speed. The 911 has always been famous for its sporty fully-independent suspension. The 993 built on top of that with a very modern setup that added performance, while also subtracting legendary over.
