The car is not a trailer queen and has been driven by all 4 owners as it is supposed to. At 139200 miles, this porsche is visually and mechanically in excellent shape. The body is 100% original and still wears about 50% of its original factory paint. The left side has been painted many years ago and there is absolutely no color or finish difference detectable to the eye. Only the paint meter will detect the partial and excellent repaint. Absolutely laser straight and dent-free body with factory gaps all around. Some chips on hood and front valance. The interior is all original as well and has a nice patina with no tears or visible cracks. Only the dashboard shows some warping around the windshield edge due to the ever present california sun. Seats, carpets, door panels and headliner in great original condition. The instruments all work including the clock. The mileage has been recorded by all 4 owners with receipts for service and maintenance. The motor runs extremely well and has no detectable leakage. Perfect oil pressure and strong pull through all gears to redline. The 915 gear box has been redone about 10k miles ago and shifts smooth and exact. It is completely rust free. The panel gap is excellent. The car has had 6 owners. The car has always been garaged, and to my knowledge, from discussions with previous owners, it has not seen rain. An engine rebuild was completed at 94k miles by german motors in lexington kentucky. The transmission was rebuilt at 146k miles and a new clutch was installed at that time. The service binder includes all original receipts. The 18 inch roh wheels emulate the original fuchs, but with a modern touch and larger size. The sumitomo tires have plenty of tread left. The stance is lowered, set to euro specs, and with the wide wheels/tires it looks good. The suspension has been replaced, as well as the brakes, with cross drilled rotors. The engine has been rebuilt to euro specs. The shifter is the factory short shifter which has been upgraded with a seine kit, lever extension, and has all new shifter bushings. The interior sports a momo steering wheel and momo shift knob. The original sport seats have been recovered and look awesome with porsche emblem embroidery. All gauges and electronics work. All maintenance is current. Just changed the oil with brad penn 20w50. Notable defects: dash split above ac vents. Common for 911, in fact this is a replacement dash, the original having split too. Some rock chips in front bumper. Small ding in driver’s side sugar scoop (pictured, i'm pointing to it) small ding on top, next to sunroof (pictured, i'm pointing to it) i have been working on cars and restoring them for the last 27 years. As far as i can tell it is pretty much all stock with theexception of the stereo. I have replaced the rear tires and the alternator. The head liner sags and there is asmall dent in the rear valance. I am selling it because i picked up yet another toy (81 trans am) and the wife sayssomething has to go! I will do my best to answer any questions.
