This car was built in april of 1961 ordered by a couple for their wedding and honeymoon but ended up in a bitter divorce. So the car lay abandoned in a storage lot in las vegas till she turned 21. She hated the car so it sat for about 40 years. The top and the interior and carpet was shot and all rubber items were really bad or gone. The paint was sand blasted off from the desert sand and wind beating on it. I flew out to see the car and it did start right up from a gas can. I bought her and transported her to miami. We replaced all hoses seals interior carpet foam padding motor mounts . I then went through the electrics and got everything including the clock to work again. Things left to dohook up radio and front speakercharge up the a. By the way i am the 2nd. I will also put the original color keyed hub caps in the trunk along with a few hard to find items that are signature 61 olds starfire parts. And owners documents and service books .
