Frame off refresh done 5 years ago! This jeep was in great shape even before and is awesome now. The strong inline 6 cylinder was rebuilt at the same time. Only mods are axle under lift, and 33" tires. Apc racing seats, and custom bumpers with integrated recievers front and rear, with reciever mounted winch and wiring front and rear. Only defects are some paint scratches and chips, and manifold exhaust leak. Comes with cab-only hard top, full length soft top, removeble cab bulk head, removeable rear seat from a yj, and rear shoulder belts for safety of rear passengers. Also included in this sale are a transmission rebuild kit i bought just incase. The body is so rust free and in great shape! I sandblasted the frame and epoxy painted it so its like new... The tires are at above 75% tread, and brakes and rotors are still like new. She's only got 137870 killometers! 86170miles!

This 1981 jeep scarmbler cj8 laredo is in all original condition. It has not been restored or modified. The interior is in near perfect condition. The exterior has the original paint and decals in very good condition with some signs of normal use. It has absolutely no rust. Still has the original side wood rails and oem tonneau cover. Has the laredo trim package with chrome front bumper and chrome jeep wheels in near perfect condition. This scrambler has only 41,366 original miles.

1981 jeep cj-8 scrambler. This outstanding classic jeep is a complete frame-off restoration with performance enhancing upgrades including howell tbi fuel injection, hei ignition, wide track front/rear axles, warn full-floating rear axle, custom dash with vdo gauges and fold & tumble rear seat. Total restoration included stainless steel fasteners throughout, fully coated frame with stainless brake lines, body undercoated with lizardskin and interior coated with grey duraback liner. Inside includes bestop trailmax seats with rear fold & tumble seat. Custom dash includes full vdo instrumentation with speedo, tach, oil pressure, water temp, voltage, fuel, trans temp and amperage gauges. 258 in-line six cylinder engine is fully rebuilt and bored . 010 over. Enhancements include howell tbi fuel injection, hei ignition, bomb-proof motor mounts, airraid intake and dual electric cooling fans. Fully rebuilt tf-999 automatic transmission with separate cooler and column shift. Driveline :tf-999 automatic transmission was rebuilt less than 6300 miles ago. All driveline bushings were replaced with polyurethane so they will last forever. The transfer case is the very popular, super tough dana 300 with new seals. The transmission, engine, and transfer case were all removed during the restoration and all parts completely overhauled, cleaned and serviced. The dana 300 is a 2-speed part time unit with 2. 62 low range gear reduction. The 4-wheel drive system is part-time, with lockable manual free-wheeling front hubs. Front dana 30 is wide-trac version with all new spicer/dana u-joints. Rear amc 20 is also wide-trac version with warn full-floating rear axles and warn premium hubs. Both the front and rear axles can be free-wheeling for easy towing. Both driveshafts have new spicer/dana u-joints. Brakes/steering/cooling :the entire brake system has been replaced with new parts including new front pads, new front rotors and rear drums (not turned but new), rear shoes, rear wheel cylinders, new spring kits, brand new master cylinder and new power brake booster, and all new lines. Every brake line was replaced with a complete stainless steel brake line kit and to accommodate the suspension lift, extended braided flexible stainless lines were used. Stainless hardware was used on the frame to mount the brake lines as well. The jeep also features power steering with a new power steering pump and rebuilt steering gear box which turns the wheels with ease! A new radiator with dual electric cooling fans was also added. Interior :the interior has been completely redone with brand new grey bestop trailmax high-back bucket seats and a matching tuffy locking center console. No rips, stains, or wear on the seats anywhere! A grant steering wheel is mounted on the tilt automatic shift column. Brand new heater control cables were added and the heat works very well! A customized dash panel includes full vdo gauges including speedo, tach, oil pressure, water temp, volts, fuel level, trans temp and amperes. All the dash control knobs were replaced with billet aluminum units to get rid of the annoying stock knobs that always fall off. The heater core was also replaced and is fully functional. The glove box was replaced with a locking tuffy glovebox with keys matching the center console. The windshield wipers system has been replaced with new wipeboy wipers allowing the wiper arm to park level with the bottom of the windshield frame improving driver visibility. All the inner and outer weather-stripping and seals on the wrangler style half doors were replaced with new. Exterior :this scrambler is painted in metallic blue with stainless, brushed stainless and silver trim pieces.
