For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. 1996 chevrolet silverado 1500 truck. This truck is in good condition. We just replaced the battery, alternator, all the pulleys, the water pump, spark plugs and wires, intake gaskets, all new clamps, hoses, heater core, tune up and belts. The truck is making a slight squeaking noise that sounds like a belt. Once the truck is running for a short period of time the noise stops. We think it is from just not being driven. The air conditioner is not working. We have been told that it needs a $15. 00 part but we cant guarantee that is the problem. The compressor appears to be spinning. The truck has power windows and power locks that still work. The truck has keyless entry with two sets of working keys. One side on the glove box is broke but it opens and closes. It has a nice radio and speakers.. The interior is nice. I have shampooed the carpet. The lumbar seat adjustments still work. The driver side forward and back adjustment has been welded in position. The power mirrors still work. The glass in the mirrors have been replaced. The truck includes a toolbox. Includes a blown in truck bed-liner. In addition, the transmission has been overhauled. Truck is being sold due to we have a new 16 year old driver and we just cant afford for him to drive a v8. Both my husband and my sons love this truck and want to keep it and hate to see it go. 1996 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado This truck was meticulously taken care of by my father. After he passed away I was forced to buy it at his estate auction in 2012. Now I have moved to Florida, and it sits in my shop and only gets taken out twice a month by the person taking care of it for me. I'm not sure when I will be back, but why have it sit when someone could be driving it. After having it for a few months the rear brake lights shorted out. I had the entire rear-end re-wired. Always stored indoors after I took ownership. This truck does have the infamous 5.7-liter V8 with 4WD. It is also equipped with the Z71 and tow package and a bed liner. Power windows and drivers power seat. It does have the 3rd door option. It does have somewhere between 198k - 204k miles. The only thing I can think of that it may need is a fresh oil change and maybe new tires soon. My mother and stepdad will be in North Dakota the middle of July and will be able to show it for me, as well as have the title at that time. Power Windows
