Comoptions:description:this caddy is in unbelievable original condition,plus some updates a new carb,(old carb is included) the brake system has been overhauled with a new style brake booster and new brake lines also. Most of the chrome and stainless is in excellent condition however the rear bumper has a little pitting. It has had a complete tune up recently along with battery,hoses and belts. Everything works properly. The dash chrome has no pitting and look great. There is some rippling on the passenger side dash. Great looking original cloth and vinyl upholstery as is the headliner. A valve job was done a couple hundred miles ago. The paint is nice but not perfect. This car has original factory air that works great. No rust underneath this car has power brakes,steering and seats.

Comoptions:description:1957 cadillac eldorado - utah showroom the 1957 model year saw the eldorado, now in both biarritz convertible and seville hardtop body styles, featuring a revised styling but the big news was the introduction of one of gm's most memorable designs, the series 70 eldorado brougham. Announced in december 1956 and released around march 1957, the eldorado brougham was a hand-built, limited car derived from the park avenue and orleans show cars of 1953-54. Designed by ed glowacke, it featured the first appearance of quad headlights and totally unique trim. The chassis for the brougham were build in detroit, crated, and then shipped to pinin farina in turn, italy where they were fitted with their stunning bodies. The 1957 eldorado brougham joined the sixty special and the series 75 as the only cadillac models bodies with fleetwood although fleetwood script or crests did not appear anywhere on the exterior of the car, and so this would also mark the first time in 20 years that that a fleetwood-bodied car was paired with the brougham name. The 1957-58 eldorado brougham also marked the return of the cadillac series 70, if only briefly. Only 400 eldorado broughams were built for 1957. This is a stunning restored example of one of the few survivors remaining. This true american icon is finished in dusty rose metallic with light beige sahara leather. There were no options as all of these cars were fully equipped. She is powered by a numbers matching 365 v-8 the produces 325 hp and it runs and drives great, being smooth, powerful, extremely collectible, and a true investment. Comoptions:description:1957 cadillac eldorado biarritz convertible - utah showroom the cadillac eldorado was introduced in 1953 to commemorate cadillac's golden anniversary, and the name, appropriately enough, means "the gilded one" in spanish. Those first eldorados featured gm's first wraparound windshield, lowered ride height, every option cadillac offered and a special hard parade boot for the convertible top. The latter came in handy as a seat for the honoree of a ticker take parade, or the president-elect of the united states for that matter, considering that dwight eisenhower was driven to his inauguration in an alpine white eldorado on january 30, 19583. Until 1955 all eldorado were convertibles, but a hardtop coupe was added for 1956. To differentiate, the hardtop was named the eldorado seville, while the convertible was known as the eldorado biarritz. All eldorado models since 1955 could be visually distinguished from other caddies by their "rocket" tail fins. Naturally, a top of the line cadillac like this one came very well-equipped. Power steering, brakes, windows, and seat were standard. The compression of the 365 v8 was raised for 1957, but power actually dropped a bit because the formerly standard dual quads were made optional. This particular example was treated to a body-off restoration in 1997 and in 2000 , a new owner rebuilt the engine and transmission and replaced the top, tiers, socks and wiring at a cost of $27,500. It has been driven less than 3,500 miles since then and remains in impeccable condition. Come with full documentation of all mechanical work performed since 1997.
