This is a very special 1986 buick regal t-type due to the condition and the carethis car has received over the 31 years in existence. Newrubber valve cover gaskets were installed september 2016. The vehicle hasoriginal paint with rusty jones clear coat option. The car has been detailedonce, making it waxed only twice. Original paint looks spectacular. The interiorof this vehicle is in mint condition. The blackdash plate and the radio plate are still guarded by the plastic protectivecoating that was in place when delivered from the factory. No sun roof or t-tops, the card is solid. It rides like a brand newvehicle and has less than 31,000 miles, the majority of which are easy highwaymiles. For the majority of the life of this vehicle it has been storedbut driven regularly. 1986 buick grand national. 71,000 original miles unmolested turbo buick grand national. Not modified or cut up like other gn’s of this age. This car has all the typical grand national options including t-tops, digital dash, stock motor, interior, and still has the original t-top bags in the truck. Rust free with a full car fax history. Car & driver in 1986 said this:the 1986 buick grand national was the third production year for the car and buick made some significant upgrades to the 3. 8 liter v6 turbo engine. The buick turbo engine group developed an intercooler and a sequential port fuel injection system that noticeably increased both the horsepower and the torque of the grand national. The upgraded engine produced 235 horsepower and 330 lbs-ft of torque. These increases had a significant impact on performance. The grand national wasfaster than the 1986 corvette, 1986 camaro, 1986 firebird and the 1986 mustang. The car was almost two seconds faster than its corporate cousin, monte carlo ss, in the quarter mile. It was the fastest production car made in america in 1986. I have a absolutely gorgeous 1986 buick grand national with 9,980 original miles for sale. The interior is nearlyflawless with all original seats, carpet and interior finishes. The ac blows ice cold. The headliner was justreplaced as they all start to sag at some point. I have owned several grand nationals over the years and this oneis one of the cleaner ones that i have owned. I personally like the 86 model year because they are almost the same as an 87 butlighter due to the aluminum brake drums and aluminum bumper supports. They also are more rare as production numbersare much lower for 1986. The paint looks all original to my eye and the exhaust is also all original. The cardrives awesome and it is very peppy. There is zero rust on this car. It was stored properly over the past 31 years. Air Conditioning
