Up for sale a late model austin healey bj8 3000. This car comes with the britishmotor heritage certificate showing the car was built 22 december (1966) – 24january 1967. The mileage shows 37795. The body on this car is extremelystraight. It has had an older restoration. The door lines are as they should beand the doors close properly. It has the original black interior in very goodcondition. The door panels have some minor damage and a new set will be providedwith the car. This bj8 has a nice everflex convertible top and comes also withthe original boot cover and an aftermarket tonneau cover. It has brand new 60spoke chrome wire wheels with 165 x 15 brand new firestone f-560 radial tires. This healey has a newly rebuiltoriginal servo, new waterpump, new 6 bladed fan and new hoses. It also has a new high quality chrome emergency brakehandle. This mkiii bj8 also has new lucas driving lights that have been properlywired through two relays. I see no rust anywhere on the car body. The originalframe rails are straight. It has one small rust hole above the tailpipes in thetrunk floor. The paint job is several years old but still very respectable. There are a few nick and minor chips in keeping with its age. There is no rustin the fender wells, especially in front of the rear tires. Seller's comments and description: 1958 austin healey 100-6. This early 100-6 is a really straight, driver level car. Mechanically, the car is very solid and a blast to drive. Its had a recent tune up and battery, starts right up and is very reliable. Cosmetically, the car shows well but has been driven and has typical minor paint imperfections. The chrome is all excellent.
