2009 honda element review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. The honda element is available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations and a choice of three trim levels: the lx, the ex and the (fwd only) sc. All trim levels are equipped with a 166-hp 2. 4-liter inline 4-cylinder engine, mated to available five-speed manual or automatic transmissions. The rugged lx is equipped with 16-inch steel wheels, a cd player and air conditioning, while the ex adds further refinements that include alloy wheels, satellite radio, mp3 capability, an auxiliary input jack and a convertible centre console with removable cooler box. The sporty sc is exclusively outfitted with a monochromatic exterior, custom grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, unique seat upholstery and piano black interior trim elements. Standard safety features on every element include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, vehicle stability assist with traction control, front side-impact airbags, front and rear side curtain airbags and a tire pressure monitor. New for 2009, the front seats are now equipped with active anti-whiplash head restraints. The honda element is completely redesigned for 2009, with exterior and interior styling changes, as well as new standard and optional equipment. The ex and sc trims get a new modular overhead console with improved storage, as well as an optional voice-activated navigation system with rearview camera and usb audio interface. The honda element is a crossover sport utility vehicle designed to maximize space for people and cargo in a fairly small package, with driving characteristics similar to that of a small sedan. The honda element is available in three trims. All come with a 166 horsepower, 2. 4-liter, 4-cylinder engine with a choice of five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but the lx and ex models are available with all-wheel drive. Tough, stain-resistant upholstery and urethane floors make for easy clean ups. The element sc trim, dubbed an "urban cruiser," comes with a fully painted exterior. Its suspension is lower and stiffer for improved handling, and it has larger 18-inch wheels. The 2008 model is a carryover from 2007.

Never, ever smoked in and probably garage kept based on its "stellar" condition inside and out. I love the color called "eternal blue pearl" and the finish is extraordinary. Also new brakes and a new set of 4 bf goodrich tires! Honda's real reliable 2. 4l i4 engine that creates 160 horsepower which is great and also gets 21 combined and 24 mpg's on the highway according to fueleconomy. We had the oil changed and a mechanical inspection done and now other than new tires and brakes this vehicle now has a new cooling fan-new front struts-motor mount and new wipers front and rear! I was talking to the mechanic and he said he can tell it was well taken care of because of the expensive tires. No rust anywhere on this vehicle as it has been in florida its whole life! Runs, drives and shifts nice and has a smooth quiet ride. All the power equipment works; speakers, windows and even the cruise control. Exceptionally clean interior with new weather-tech floor mats, nice seats, headliner and instrumentation. Fun to drive and fun to buy because we made the price super fair and super reasonable at only $6555. More spectacular news we have no hidden costs or dealer fees!!!!!
