It's also not afraid to wear a lot of bright chrome trim, including the beefy bumpers, egg crate grille, and side trim that fits neatly into the groove running the length of the body. Yes, it's got some age on it, which is impossible to hide with black paint, but the overall look is pretty impressive. Everything looks better in black, including working-class hardware like this Ranger AM/FM

With a ton of originality, and plenty of cool upgrades along the way, this 1976 ford f-100 explorer is a truly unique total package that's available right now for quite a nice price. Everyone loves the bold look of this factory-correct medium copper. The sheetmetal is exceptionally straight, and so, the first impression this ford is its truly worth the asking price alone. Some of them are nice optional features from the factory like the period-correct swing-out mirrors, explorer hood ornament, sliding rear window, and the cool beige stripe package that gets this attractive pickup even more attention. Plus, this one was upgraded along the way to make it one of the best-looking retro customs around. The windshield visor, top running lights, side steps w/grab handles on the cab, fender flares, and black & chrome grand prix wheels. But more than just look like a retro-style long-hauler, this one still knows how to be a useful pickup. After all, under the vinyl cover is the added utility of the long bed setup. Inside the copper and beige theme continues in what is believed to be a mostly original interior. In fact, the only pieces that we can identify as replaced are fresher carpeting (always a welcomed upgrade) and a cb radio. The 302 cubic-inch v8 looks great under the hood with its big blue block, bright air cleaner, and all those factory-style details. Plus, the glasspack-style dual exhaust gives this v8 a sweet crackle. A truck this nice deserves to be taken out for leisurely drives, and so it also was optioned correctly to be comfortable on the road.

Ford did an amazing job in '64 with a little fender flare in the front, power dome hood, and a sweeping line in the profile that runs from the front all the way down through the styleside bed. It also helps that the turquoise is a modern re-spray of the factory-correct color. That means a nice shine over all the stylistic curves. And speaking of style, the white roof and matching pinstripe that follows the sheetmetal is truly an inspired touch. Bright bumpers and good trim make it a true '60s machine. Plus, there theme of turquoise and brightwork come together nicely on the custom wheels. But more than just a great presentation, the trailer hitch and the steel bed with liner paint mean this vintage pickup is always ready for work and play. The exterior theme continues on the inside, too. In fact, the bench seat represents the full color scheme perfectly with the custom two-tone that looks like it could have been in a hot rod. The door panels, dash, and new headliner interweave there two colors, too, to finish out this attractive uniform package. There's even a nicely pained auxiliary gauge trio to keep completely informed. Under the hood is ford's 400 cubic-inch v8. A vintage truck that's both this useful and striking is rarely this affordable.

This truck is a well assembled package. And those large 22-inch boss motorsports wheels are another great touch that brings modern attraction. Even the matte black stripe on the hood nicely coordinates with the f-o-r-d lettering in the rear. It also matches the spray-in bedliner, so that this very functional piece can still be a part of the overall thoughtful design. Inside is a handsome and correct black interior. The exterior blue returns on the door panels and dash, so this whole pickup was painted properly during the respray. But the best work in this pickup was reserved for under the hood. But this one also has some nice substance. The full package truly makes this a muscle machine, but there is more here than just pure power. It feels nice on the road thanks to the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and ford's twin i-beam front suspension. A great vintage package like this won't stay with us long at this affordable price. AM/FM✔ Cloth Interior✔ CD Player

1965 ford f-100 - tampa, flstreetside classic carstampa, fl 33559ph: 8135011630web: n/aoptions:description:here's a vintage pickup that does a great job of mixing together some of the most iconic f-series generations. First off this red paint with black accents gives off a feeling that's mixture of tradesman's ride and classic hot rod. Ford did an amazing job in '65 with a little fender flare in the front and plenty of rounded curves. The brightwork is bold and wide on this pickup from the bumper to the way f-o-r-d is spaced all the way across the front. A '92 bed and its slicker sheetmetal has been custom mounted to the truck's chassis. The fit is so good and they were painted together after the build so it's a very nicely integrated new element. Diamond plating was added around the parameter of the bed to match the lock box and side steps. This makes the total package a very uniform custom build. The cloth bench seat is from a late-model pickup. The interior is given the same aggressive red as the exterior. But even with this more modern feeling there are still great vintage touches like the classic ford steering wheel and clear original speedometer. Under the hood is ford's legendary 302 cubic-inch v8. The trusty motor is nearly infinitely upgradable. But there's another side to this f-100 too. The motor was rebuilt 18000 miles ago for good reliability. Plus the twin i-beam front suspension is far superior to the solid axle vintage pickups. There is even a trailer hitch with wiring harness in the back. Tachometer

This awesome 1969 ford f-100 pickup has lived its entire life in the care of folks who appreciate old iron, and now that it has retired, it's looking to have some fun. Yes, it really is too pretty to be original paint, but someone spent good money freshening up this truck, while simultaneously keeping the rugged, hard-working look that made these trucks famous. The orange paint is actually quite sophisticated, neither too bright nor too brown, but a medium color that looks absolutely awesome on the vintage sheetmetal. The honest good looks are something many of us grew up with, from the bright grille up front to the long spear along the sides, and the chrome rocker panel trim, this is a flashy truck. They took the time to retain all the original emblems, too, including the 'ranger' script on the bed sides, reminding us that the ranger wasn't always a little guy. A durable bedliner protects the vintage steel, and while it has its share of scars, there's no serious damage in the cargo bay that would suggest a truck that was abused. The basic black interior is surprisingly plush and handsome for a blue-collar machine such as this, and thanks to the new seat covers, it's ready to enjoy immediately. Faux button-tufted door panels soften the otherwise all-steel doors, a style that was popular in the late-60s, and it goes rather well with the upscale look of the pleated seat and recent black carpets. Ford's interesting instrument panel features a complete array of gauges and a burled walnut applique that warms up the interior nicely. There's a later am/fm radio fitted to the dash, right above the controls for the a/c system, which was very neatly installed under the dash. Although this truck has power steering, the big steering wheel is reassuring for this big rig and makes wheeling it around effortless under any conditions. The engine is a burly 390 cubic inch v8, which has been upgraded to a 4-barrel carburetor that lives under a factory-style air cleaner and between a set of simple stamped steel valve covers, giving it a very oem look. The bright ford engine starts easily and runs smoothly with that seamless flow of torque that only a big block can deliver, making it the perfect partner in a truck that's built to move heavy things. The a/c compressor dominates the top of the engine, and its condition suggests recent work, although it may need a recharge. Underneath, it's solid and clean, with a rumbling dual exhaust system featuring glasspack-style mufflers and chrome tips that exit under the rear bumper. The 3-speed automatic transmission powers a 9-inch rear end, so the hardware doesn't even flinch at the idea of real work and ford's "twin i-beam" front suspension has legendary durability. The wheels are handsome torque thrusts that now wear fat michelin light truck radials. This is a fun, solid truck with an awesome look, all at a very reasonable price. AM/FM✔ Air Conditioning
